|Glacier Bay National Park is located at the northwest end of the Alexander Archipelago in southeastern Alaska. The Park is famous for its tide water glaciers, deep fjords and wildlife, including eagles, seals, sea lions and brown bears.
The Bear Track Inn is a truly unique two-story log building with 14 guest rooms, each with private bath and two queen beds.
Juneau to Glacier Bay National Park
Transfer on own to airport for scheduled flight to Gustavus. Flight to Gustavus typically is around midday, but all depending on flight availability. On arrival you will be met by a representative and transferred to the Bear Track Inn. Remainder of the day is free. Overnight. Dinner included.|
(An overnight in Juneau prior to this program is highly recommended! Weather in Southeast Alaska can delay all flights! If you only arrive in Juneau today, please provide us with your flight arrival information.)
Glacier Bay National Park Cruise
In the early morning transfer to Bartlett Cove where you board a high-speed catamaran to cruise into Glacier Bay National Park. Lunch is included and park rangers are aboard to provide interpretive information. Return to Bartlett Cove in the late afternoon and transfer to the Inn. Overnight. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.
Whale watching cruise and depart Gustavus
Transfers for a scheduled whale watching excursion into Icy Straits and Point Adolphus (morning or afternoon departure). See humpback whales in their summer feeding grounds. In the evening, transfer is provided for scheduled departure flight. Departure from Gustavus at about 6pm. Breakfast and lunch included.|
IMPORTANT NOTE: We highly recommend an overnight in Juneau after this program! All flights in Southeast Alaska are weather dependent and may be delayed or even cancelled due to bad weather!

southeastern Alaska. Access is only possible by air, cruise ships and
charter boat. The local airport is Gustavus while the closest major airport
is Juneau, 60 air miles east. Flights to/from Gustavus typically are in
small planes with luggage weight limitations of 50 pounds
per person. Soft-sided luggage is recommended.
Booking requirements: we require following information for
each traveler at time of reservation:
1) Full name including
middle name(s), citizenship, gender and date of birth.
2) Hotel information in Juneau.
Deposit of 50% is
required, without reservation is not confirmed. Final payment is due 90 days
