Lake Creek is a short 45 minute floatplane flight northwest from Lake Hood in Anchorage transports you to this rustic hideaway. Riversong Lodge is a classic all-log wilderness lodge accommodating up to forty guests. The lodge and cozy cabins are filled with Alaskan character. On the water, the Riversong guides use riverboats to jet their guests to local hot spots. Anglers may spin or fly fish for all five species of Pacific salmon, rainbow, grayling and pike: from the boat, from shore or while wading. The lodge chef creates fresh and natural gourmet meals, which are served family style. The combination of exciting river angling, cozy wilderness lodging, delightful meals, and true Alaska hospitality can make Riversong Lodge the highlight to your Alaska vacation.

Riversong Lodge is located on the Yentna River at Lake Creek, a famous Alaskan
fishing area offering all five species of salmon, rainbow trout, arctic
grayling, and northern pike. Accessible only by floatplane, Riversong Lodge
offers visitors comfortable accommodations, award winning cuisine, and superb
fishing. Its rustic lodge construction, spacious decks, and inviting living room
leave no doubt you are deep in the Alaskan wilderness. Ten guest cabins surround
the main lodge facing the Yentna River towards Mt. McKinley. Guest stay in one
of six cabins that have private baths. This is the perfect lodge for an Alaska
fishing vacation, easily reached by floatplane from Anchorage.
Fishing: Riversong Lodge caters to experienced and
novice fishermen alike. Your fishing excursions offer excellent catching
opportunities, beautiful scenery, and knowledgeable certified guides. Your guide
will navigate the swiftly flowing waters of Lake Creek in search of the mighty
king salmon in June or the spectacular rainbow trout in September. In addition,
Riversong Lodge offers daily fly-out fishing excursions by floatplane to
favorite neighboring rivers. If you are truly after a unique remote Alaskan
experience, fly from the lodge by helicopter to some difficult to reach and
fabulously rich fishing waters.
Activities: Other
activities are also available for those needing a break from fishing. You could
canoe Twenty Mile Slough, enjoy a day float trip on Lake Creek, or take a
cooking class with one of the chefs. In addition to the beautiful ground,
visitors can enjoy a wood-heated sauna and herb and flower gardens. Throughout
the summer the flowers bloom in a constant parade of new color, adding to this
stunning and memorable lodge vacation.
