You will be driven in a deluxe motorcoach for a 7 hour tour of the scenic areas south of Anchorage. Look for Dall Sheep and beluga whales along Turnagain Arm on your way to the Alyeska Resort. During your visit to the resort, you will have time for lunch and a ride on the tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska (not included). Afterwards, visit the Begich-Boggs Visitor Center and take an unforgettable 1-hour cruise on Portage Lake right up to the face of Portage Glacier. Witness this amazing annual migration of California Gray Whales, traveling over 5,000 miles from Baja California, to the nutrient rich waters of Alaska's Bering Sea! You will depart this morning from Anchorage on a motorcoach to Seward. At noon you will depart on a 4 hour cruise, where you will have a front row seat as these magnificent mammals pass by the mouth of Resurrection Bay. Watch for their bushy, heart shaped blow rising up to 13 feet in the air. A hot lunch is included. Following the cruise, you will return by motorcoach to Anchorage, arriving in Anchorage between 6:30pm and 7pm.
