Discover Mt. McKinley Flightseeing from Anchorage

This scenic flight takes you within six miles of McKinley's 20,320 ft. summit. Fly by floatplane from Anchorage's Lake Hood, the world's busiest seaplane airport. Aerially tour over the foothills of Denali to view the entire length of the Ruth Glacier, the Great Gorge and the massive south face of McKinley. This is a truly spectacular way to get up-close to "The Great One!" A lake landing inside Denali National Park provides an opportunity for photos of the remote wilderness (weather permitting). Tour includes: Transfers to and from most local hotels from mid-May to mid-September.

Required at time of booking: Passenger weights and hotel information if pick-up is required.  A 4-person minimum is required for the tour to operate between September 1 - May 31.

Glacier & Wildlife Flightseeing Tour from Anchorage

Enjoy a flightseeing tour of the majestic Chugach State Park! On this flight you will travel over the expansive Knik Glacier rimmed with spectacular hanging glaciers. Sense the motion of the ice and see how it has shaped the land, then fly over the Colony Glacier to Lake George where it spills into the winding Knik Glacier Gorge. Denali National Park Day Trip from Anchorage

Depart from Anchorage's Merrill Field airport very early in the morning and fly 75 minutes to Denali National Park in a small plane. As you approach and circle Mt. McKinley, watch for climbers on their way to the summit. After landing, you will board a bus for your park tour. Your driver will assist you in spotting wildlife along the road and answer questions about the park and its resources. The return flight to Anchorage offers a different perspective of the area. Tour includes: Roundtrip air from Anchorage with scenic fly-by of Mt. McKinley, a 6-8 hour bus tour into Denali, transfers in Denali, and a box lunch. Not included: transfers in Anchorage (Tour departs from Anchorage Merrill  Field Airstrip)

Helicopter Adventure with Glacier Dogsled Tour including van transfers from Anchorage

After a 1-1.5 hour transfer (one way) from Anchorage you arrive at Knik River Lodge. From Knik River Lodge you will take a breathtaking 15-20 minute helicopter ride up to a glacier. After landing on the glacier, you will experience a dog sledding adventure that you will never forget. Meet an experienced Iditarod Musher who will teach you to mush your own dog sled team along one of the most scenic snow covered glaciers! (approx. 1 hour on the glacier).  Tour includes: Roundtrip transfer from Anchorage to Knik River Lodge, helicopter flight and dog sledding on a glacier.  Not included: transfers in Anchorage and meals. (Tour departs from designated Anchorage hotels only)

NOTE: Please note that there are 3 passenger seats in the helicopter. There are passenger weight limits because the overall weight of the helicopter with everything in it can only reach a certain amount. If your party is larger than 3 or if you exceed the overall weight limit, your party will be broken up and you will be on the glacier at different times.  There is a 2-person minimum required for this tour to operate.
