This small group day excursion takes you from Fairbanks to Barrow on a
scenic small aircraft flight. The 9-passenger planes allow for better
sightseeing opportunities along the way. Stops will be made in the small
community of Coldfoot along the way for the opportunity to grab lunch and
stretch your legs. In Barrow, a local guide will take you on an approximately
2-hour sightseeing tour of the village, where you will discover firsthand the
lifestyles of Alaska's Inupiat Eskimos. Here you will have the opportunity to
touch the Arctic Ocean and visit the residential and commercial areas of the
community. Due to limitations of smaller aircraft the Expedition is more prone
to weather alterations. However, refunds are available if the tour is cancelled
or shortened due to weather.
