Friday: Depart Seattle

Board your cruise ship today and begin your journey through the beautiful Inside Passage. Embarkation begins at 11:30am and all guests are required to be on board 1 hour prior to departure. The ship will depart at approximately 4:00pm.

 

Saturday: Cruising

You will be at sea the entire day today. Spend time enjoying the many amenities aboard the ship, such as the health spa, swimming pool, movie theatre, casino, tennis and basketball courts, duty-free shops and library. Relax in the lounge or by the pool.

 

Sunday: Juneau, AK

Cruise scenic Stephens Passage today on your way to Alaska's capital city, Juneau. There is something for everyone in Juneau - shopping, glacier dog sledding, sea kayaking, flight seeing tours, and glacier hiking (not included in tour price). The ship will arrive in Juneau at approximately 11am and depart at approximately 10:30pm.

 

Monday: Cruising Tracy Arm Fjord and Sawyer Glacier OR Glacier Bay National Park

(varies by departure date; see below)

Enjoy scenic cruising of Tracy Arm Fjords today. This narrow, 26-mile-long fjord is surrounded by lush rain forest and tall mountain peaks. Watch for mountain goats, seals and whales are you cruise through the icebergs. Weather permitting, your ship will take you to the twin faces of Sawyer Glacier to witness chunks of ice calve into the ocean.

Spend the day cruising Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve. Marvel at this ice-age wonder as you cruise past tide-water glaciers, snow capped mountains and freshwater rivers. Keep watch for whales, sea lions, bears, and puffins as well as glacier calving.

 

Tuesday: Sitka, AK
Today you will visit the scenic, multicultural city of Sitka. The area has long been home to the Tlingit native peoples and served as the capital of Russian-America. Remnants of the city's past abound with Russian architecture standing alongside Tlingit totem poles. Enjoy a tour of the Raptor Center, learn about the city's history and culture, or take a kayaking trip (not included in tour price). The ship will be in port from approximately 8:00am until 5:00pm.

 

Wednesday: Ketchikan, AK

Located on Revillagigedo Island, Ketchikan is known as Alaska's Native Cultural Center and Sportfishing Capital. Native art and culture flourish here due to the large population of Native Alaskans, represented by the three indigenous tribes: the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian. The city is also home to the largest collection of totem poles in the world. Spend your time in port shopping, touring Misty Fjords by ship or plane, canoeing in a traditional native canoe, or touring the backcountry by jeep (not included in tour price). The ship will be in port from approximately 7:00am until 1:00pm.

 

Thursday: Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

Most of the day will be spend cruising back to Seattle. At approximately 6:00pm, the ship will arrive in Victoria, British Columbia for a short port call; the ship will depart at approx. 12am / midnight.

 

Friday: Arrive Seattle

You will awake this morning back in Seattle. Disembarkation begins at 7:00am.

Tuesday: Cruising Hubbard Glacier and Yakutat Bay

Today you will cruise to the longest tidewater glacier in America – Hubbard Glacier. This spectacular glacier flows 76 miles from its source in the Yukon Territory and is over 6 miles wide at its face. It is one of few very active glaciers that continues to advance and retreat seasonally. As you cruise through ice flows to the glacier, watch for seals and listen for the loud rumbles that precede glacier calving – when giant pieces of ice break off the glacier and fall into the sea.
