Experience Fairbanks the way locals do! You will be driven out of town to
the beloved Two Rivers Lodge for a gourmet dinner of prime rib, New York steak,
grilled salmon, vegetable primavera, or chicken Oscar, as well as some of their
famous dessert. Afterwards, take a 1.5-hour rafting float through Chena State
Recreation Area under the midnight sun. From the peaceful river, watch for
wildlife, such as beavers, otters, bald eagles, and even bears. Visit your
guide's authentic Alaskan log home before returning to town. Transfers are
provided from Pioneer Park in Fairbanks.

sightseeing tour of Alaska's second largest city. Begin your morning with a
4-hour fully narrated historical bus tour of Fairbanks, gold panning at the Gold Dredge 8, and a stop at the Trans-Alaska Oil Pipeline. Next, climb
aboard the Riverboat Discovery III, the only authentic sternwheeler riverboat
operating in Alaska, for a 3.5-hour cruise on the Chena and Tanana Rivers.
During the cruise, you will hear about the area's natural history and the
Athabascan Native culture. You will see a floatplane take off, meet sled dogs,
witness the "wedding of the rivers," and gain insight into the ancient
Athabascan Indian culture. Alaskan Native guides who have worked and lived in
Alaska will take you on a personalized tour of the Chena Indian Village. Lunch

Travel 60 miles west of Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs. Chena Hot Springs
Resort is internationally known for its natural mineral hot springs. Visitors
can relax and revitalize in the outdoor hot springs, hot tubs, and indoor pool.
Chena Hot Springs offers a first rate Alaskan winter experience from
Fairbanks! Yet Chena Hot Springs is also a great attraction in the summer
time! During your 4-hour visit at Chena Hot Springs, enjoy a guided Ice Museum
tour, which is set up like an ice hotel, as well as a guided Geothermal tour.
Before you head back to Fairbanks, soak in the hot springs (please bring own
towels). Ask us about adding a dog sled ride or snowmobile tour in the winter
(depending on snow conditions)!
