Day 1:
Arrive Anchorage, AK
Arrive in
Anchorage before 5pm. Transfer by shuttle to
your hotel. Tonight, meet your Tour Leader.
Overnight in
Anchorage.
Day 2:
Anchorage to Denali National Park, AK
This morning
transfer to the Anchorage train station. At
8:15am, you will travel from Anchorage to
Denali National Park aboard the McKinley
Explorer double-decker, glass-domed rail
car. Enjoy mountain and valley views from
your upper level seats. Upon arrival in
Denali at 3:30pm, the afternoon is free for
optional activities, such as river rafting
or a Jeep safari (not included).

Day 3:
Denali National Park
Early this
morning (between 5:30am and 7am), depart on
a bus tour of Denali National Park. This 6
to 8 hour tour takes you approximately 53
miles into the Park. As you travel through
the pristine wilderness, look for wildlife,
such as bears, caribou, and moose, as well
as views of Mt. McKinley. A small box lunch
is included onboard. Following the tour, the
afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 4:
Denali National Park to Fairbanks, AK
This morning is
free for optional tours and relaxation. At
3:45pm, travel by McKinley Explorer dome
train to Fairbanks. Upon arrival in
Fairbanks at 8:00pm, transfer to your hotel
by shuttle.
Overnight in
Fairbanks.
Day 5:
Fairbanks to Tok, AK
Fairbanks owes
its founding to the discovery of gold. This
morning, visit the El Dorado Gold Mine,
where you will ride a train through a
permafrost tunnel to see fossils and mineral
veins. After a short course in gold panning,
grab your own "poke" filled with pay dirt
right out of a sluice box and pan for gold.
Keep what you find! This afternoon you will
ride in a comfortable motorcoach southeast
on the Alaska/Canada Highway to the border
town of Tok. You will pass through the
quaint towns of North Pole and Delta
Junction. There are views of the 800-mile
long Trans-Alaska Pipeline and the Tetlin
National Wildlife Refuge along the route.

Day 6: Tok
to Dawson City, Yukon
Today, savor
the scenery as you journey by Explorer Coach
over the Top of the World Highway to Dawson
City and enjoy an included dinner at your
hotel. Overnight in
Dawson City.
Day 7:
Dawson City
Spend today at
your leisure exploring the Klondike
goldfields and enjoying the old Gold Rush
atmosphere of Dawson City. Visit Diamond
Tooth Gertie’s Casino, visit Tombstone Park,
or take an historical walking tour (not
included).
Overnight in
Dawson City.
Day 8:
Dawson City to Whitehorse, Yukon
Sightsee by
coach as you travel south to Whitehorse, the
capital of the Yukon. You will pass Five
Finger Rapids, where you will stop for an
included lunch.
Overnight in
Whitehorse.
Day 9:
Whitehorse to Skagway, AK
Travel by coach and train to Skagway today.
You will be driven to Fraser, where you will
board the historic White Pass Yukon
Railroad, which is a narrow-gauge railroad
built in 1898 during the Gold Rush to
transport miners. Sit back and enjoy the
alpine scenery and amazing views. Skagway
itself is located in Klondike Gold Rush
National Park. You will some time for
shopping and optional tours, such as a
helicopter flight or riding a dog sled. This
evening, enjoy the North To Alaska show
hosted by Alaskan singer/songwriter Steve
Hite.

Skagway.
Day 10:
Cruise Departure
The morning is
at your leisure. This afternoon, say goodbye
to your Tour Lirector and board your deluxe
Holland America cruise ship. Tonight, set
sail at approximately 9:00pm. All of your
meals are included onboard.
Day 11:
Cruising Glacier Bay National Park
Today you will
cruise through Glacier Bay National Park and
Preserve. Marvel at this ice-age wonder as
you travel past tide-water glaciers, snow
capped mountains and freshwater rivers. Keep
watch for whales, sea lions, bears, and
puffins, as well as glacier calving.
Day 12:
Ketchikan, AK
Located on
Revillagigedo Island, Ketchikan is known as
Alaska's Native Cultural Center and
Sportfishing Capital. Native art and culture
flourish here due to the large population of
Native Alaskans, represented by the three
indigenous tribes: the Tlingit, Haida and
Tsimshian. The city is also home to the
largest collection of totem poles in the
world. Spend your time in port shopping,
touring Misty Fjord National Monument,
canoeing in a traditional native canoe, or
touring the backcountry by jeep (not
included in tour price). The ship will
typically be in port from approximately
10:00am until 6:00pm.
Day 13:
Cruising the British Columbia Coast
You will be at
sea the entire day today. Enjoy views of the
lush forest and small towns along the
Canadian coast as you sail back to
Vancouver. Take advantage of the many
amenities aboard the ship, such as the
health spa, swimming pool, movie theatre,
casino, tennis and basketball courts,
duty-free shops and library. Relax in the
lounge or by the pool.
Day 14:
Arrive Vancouver
You will awake
this morning in Vancouver. Breakfast is your
last included meal. Disembarkation begins at
7:00am. A transfer to the airport is
included.
