This morning, enjoy a sightseeing tour of the gold mining town of Fairbanks and a stop at the University of Alaska museum. (B) Day 3 (Wednesday): Fairbanks to Denali National Park Entrance (121mi/194km/2hr) Today, travel by motorcoach south along the Parks Highway to Denali National Park. This afternoon is free for optional activities, such as rafting, flight seeing, helicopter tours, hiking, Park Service programs or the Denali Dinner Theatre (not included). Overnight Denali. (BB) Day 4 (Thursday): Denali National Park The morning is free for optional activities. This afternoon, travel deep into Denali National Park on the Tundra Wilderness Tour and search the pristine wilderness for bear, moose, caribou, and sheep. This tour is approximately eight hours and includes a 'snack box' and hot beverages. Overnight Denali. (BB, S) Day 5 (Friday): Denali National Park to Anchorage The morning is free for optional activities. This afternoon, travel aboard the classic Alaska Railroad from Denali to Anchorage. On arrival at the Anchorage rail depot, transfer is provided to the hotel. Overnight Anchorage. (BB) Day 6 (Saturday): Anchorage Sightseeing Depart on a sightseeing tour of Anchorage including a visit to the Alaska Native Heritage Center. The rest of the day is open to explore the area.
