 | This tour begins with a beautiful 30 mile drive up the Chilkat Valley to the
Bald Eagle preserve, where you will board a safe 18 foot inflatable raft for
your float trip. This area boasts the world's largest concentration of Bald
Eagles, which can be seen perched in the trees and stumps along the shoreline.
Above all this beauty, the spectacular peaks of the Chilkat Mountains loom high
into the sky. Icy blue glaciers tumble from the lofty heights, carving away the
mountains, grinding the rock into dust. The tour ends near Klukwan, where the
bus will meet you for the return to Haines. NOTE: A 4-person minimum is required for the tour to operate. Children have
to be at least 7 years old in order to participate in the this tour. If you
are traveling on a cruise ship, please book this shore excursion through your
cruise company. This tour is not available to cruise passengers.
