Kachemak Bay Guided Sea Kayaking Tour from Homer
Surrounded by picturesque mountain peaks, remote fjords and abundant wildlife makes Homer's Kachemak Bay a premier destination for sea kayaking. Begin with a water taxi ride across scenic Kachemak Bay to the protected waters of Otter Cove. Here, your experienced guide will provide an orientation before you begin paddling past spectacular scenery and watching for sea otters, porpoises and possibly even whales. The guide will also provide information on the local area. At the end of the tour you will be transported via water taxi back to Homer. The kayaks are single and double Necky kayaks which are very stable for beginners yet still provide the experienced paddler with a fun ride. 
Tour includes: guide services and instruction, kayak, spray skirt, paddle and round trip water taxi.
Not included: Meals and gratuity. 

NOTE: A 2-person minimum is required for this tour to operate.  Children have to be at least 10 years or older to participate in this tour.

Interpretive Glacier Lake Trail Hike from Homer
In the morning travel by water taxi across Kachemak Bay to Glacier Spit in Kachemak Bay State Park. Join your guide for a hike to Grewingk Glacier Lake. Your guide will identify and allow you to taste edible vegetation along the way, point out the stages of reforestation along the glacial moraine and provide you with a wealth of information you would not obtain walking this trail on your own. The trail crosses flat terrain, through stands of cottonwoods and spruce and across the dry outwash plain of the Grewingk Glacier. It ends at the broad, open beaches of Grewingk Glacier Lake. This trail offers superb views of the glacier and its surrounding peaks. Icebergs floating in the lake present opportunities for great photos.
Tour includes: Round trip water taxi, guide and state park fee.
Not included: meals and transfers to and from your hotel.

NOTE: A 4-person minimum is required for the tour to operate. Children have to be at least 9 years old in order to participate in the this tour. You will walk about 4-5 miles on uneven ground. There are also a couple of steep spots during the hike.

Halibut Fishing Half Day Tour from Homer
Enjoy fishing in the Halibut Capital of the world on this half day charter. This trip is recommended for families or those who only have a short time to try their hand at halibut fishing. If you are a serious fisherman we recommend a full day trip. Due to time constraints you will not travel to where the larger fish are typically located however the captain will know the best locations to catch fish. During the trip, you will be given instruction on the proper halibut fishing technique, your hook will be baited, and the halibut will be handled for you.
Tour includes:  All fishing gear and fish filleting. 
Not included:   Fishing license (approx. USD 20 per person), fish processing, meals, and gratuity.

NOTE: Fishing limit is 2 halibut per person. In order to provide the best halibut fishing possible, the ride to the fishing grounds may take anywhere from 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Halibut Fishing Full Day Tour from Homer
Homer is known as the Halibut Capital of the World and offers some of Alaska's best halibut fishing from mid-May to September. The boat trip itself is a treat - cruising the beautiful shore line you regularly see sea otters, whales, puffins, and other marine wildlife. The ship captains are friendly, experienced fishermen who know where the fish are. During the trip, you will be given instruction on the proper halibut fishing technique, your hook will be baited, and the halibut will be handled for you. .

Bear & Wildlife Viewing Flight Safari from Homer
Enjoy a scenic 1 to 1 ¾ hours flight over volcano and glacier scenery to the east coast of Katmai National Park (this tour does NOT go to Brooks Falls). After landing on the beach, you and your guide will spend approximately 3 hours walking along the beaches and meadows to view brown bears in their natural habitat. From a safe distance, you may observe the bears fishing, digging for clams, grubbing for roots and grasses, socializing and raising their young. It is also possible to see foxes, bald eagles, and various sea life. Bears typically are seen on this tour, but sightings are not guaranteed!  Tour includes: roundtrip flight and guide.  Not included: meals and transfers to and from your hotel.

Good to know: Participants must be able to walk in rubber boots in partly high grass, uneven, muddy and watery ground. You will be outside exposed to the weather for the duration of the ground portion of the tour in areas with no shelter of any kind, even on days that may be cool, wet and windy. No restroom facilities available. This tour is weather dependent and could be cancelled if flight conditions are not safe.

Note: There is a 2 passenger minimum for this tour to operate. Children have to be at least 7 years old to participate in this tour.
