| This trip begins with a 2.5 mile moderate to challenging hike through the
rainforest along Mendenhall Lake. The beginning of the trail is well maintained,
while the second half is off the beaten path and requires some rock scrambling.
Once you reach the glacier, you will be outfitted in trekking gear. With the use
of crampons, you will trek for 1.5 hours on moderate glacier terrain overlooking
Mendenhall Lake. Enjoy close-up views of ice caves, streams, crevasses and other

This is an exciting bear viewing tour for individuals with limited time
but who want to experience the awe and majesty of Admiralty Island, known as the
"Fortress of the Bears" by the Tlingit native people. Fly by float plane and be
led by your experienced pilot/guide to places within the Pack Creek Bear
Preserve including Windfall Harbor.
