| Moments after departing Juneau, you will enjoy breathtaking vistas of the

| Taku Glacier Lodge offers a classic Alaskan experience with excellent views
of the Taku Glacier. Reached by float plane from Juneau, the rustic wilderness
lodge is famous for its daily traditional salmon barbecue lunch (included). The
35 minute flight to the lodge offers breathtaking views of the magnificent
glaciers and deep blue crevasses of the Juneau Icefield. The plane will land on
the Taku River, near the historic Taku Lodge. When the lodge was built in 1923,
the area teemed with wildlife. Today bear, moose, wolves and wolverine make this
their habitat; it is common to see black bears close to the lodge. During lunch,
