Bear Viewing at Lake Clark National Park - Full Day Tour - from Soldotna
Depart from Soldotna on a 45 minute scenic flight across Cook Inlet to Alaska Homestead Lodge, located in the foothills of the Aleutian Range in Lake Clark National Park. After landing on a remote beach in front of Alaska Homestead Lodge, you will have 6 to 7 hours of guided brown bear viewing. Your experienced guide will drive you in a wagon pulled by an ATV to the best viewing spots. You will be able to get out of the wagon to photograph the bears by foot from safe areas. Lunch and roundtrip flights from Soldotna are included on this tour. The most reliable times for bear viewing are from mid-June through end of July; however, bears roam the green meadows all summer feeding on sage grass. Sightings are not guaranteed!  Please note that a 2-passenger minimum is required to operate this tour.
