Day 1:  Anchorage to Knik River Lodge
Transfer is provided from downtown area hotels along the Chugach Mountain Range into the Matanuska Valley to the Knik River Lodge. After this one hour scenic drive, settle into your private cabin.  The afternoon is free to take a nature walk on your own, or to sit out on your deck to enjoy this quiet mountain setting. Dinner and overnight at the Knik River Lodge.

Day 2:  Knik Glacier Tour
After breakfast today enjoy a 4 hour glacier tour that takes you seven miles up the Knik River (approximately 1/2 hour) in an fully enclosed Airboat; passing the occasional strayDrive Alaska's Scenic Byways to see the best of the Last Frontier iceberg, waterfalls and some of Alaska's most spectacular scenery. You navigate around the icebergs keeping a safe distance before you get up close to Knik Glacier. This glacier is awe inspiring as it pours from the Chugach mountains greatest peaks. This 25 mile river of ice is over 5 miles wide and hundreds of feet thick. You will pull ashore for a two hour visit to Glacier Camp. Here you will get a front row seat to one of natures most powerful shows. Listen to the sound of white thunder as icebergs the size of 5 story buildings may tumble into the new lake. Your Alaskan guide knows where to look for wildlife; black bear, moose, Dall sheep, and eagles are common. Hot drinks are served from the camp kitchen. Take a hike or an optional kayak paddle around the beautiful icebergs. A picnic lunch is provided.  After pictures are taken and memories are made, jump in the Airboat for the 1/2 hour ride down river back to the departure point. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Dinner and overnight Knik River Lodge.

Day 3:  Return to Anchorage
A light breakfast at the lodge, then you will be transferred back to Anchorage to continue your Alaska adventure, or to meet your  flight home.

Day 1:  Anchorage

Day 2:  Prince William Sound Cruise
This morning your transfer will meet you at your hotel.  Sit back and enjoy the scenery in a comfortable motorcoach along Turnagain Arm and through the Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. Keep an eye out for Dall sheep and Beluga whales along the way.  At 11:00 am, your cruise departs Whittier harbor for a 6-hour exploration of magnificent Prince William Sound.  Explore the untamed wilderness on calm waters including a visit a working salmon hatchery. Cruise the spectacular Esther Passage before exploring the numerous glaciers in the Harriman Fjord and Barry Arm. Stop at the majestic Surprise Glacier. Marine animals and birds flourish in these waters, and a delicious Alaskan king crab cake lunch is included (chicken or vegetarian options are available upon request at time of booking).  Return transfer is provided to the Ramada Inn Anchorage for overnight.

Day 3:  Courtesy transfer to meet your flight home, to continue your Alaska adventure.
