Spend the day experiencing two perspectives of the landscape of the Kenai Peninsula on this tour. Begin with a 3-hour hike along the Resurrection River. After a bakery lunch, take an afternoon kayaking tour along the shores of Resurrection Bay. During this 5-hour hike, take a scenic path to the glacier first which is a mixture of back-country and on-trail trekking (approx. 1.6 miles). The elevation gain is 1400 feet and the view from the top is stunning. This trip then usually spends about 1 hour on the ice exploring Exit Glacier. Perfect tour for outdoor enthusiasts! Minimum age: 13 years. Difficulty: moderate, but expect quite a bit of uphill hiking.
