Helicopter Glacier Dog Sledding Tour from Skagway
Combine helicopter flight-seeing with Alaska's state sport - dog sledding! After a thrilling flight over spectacular glaciers, you'll land at a dog camp on the Denver Glacier. Experienced guides will introduce you to the world of “mushing” and the art of dog sledding. Drive the team or relax in the sled while observing the breathtaking environment around you. Tour includes: Roundtrip helicopter flight-seeing, dog sledding and Glacier boots and safety vest.  Not included: Transfers within Skagway.  (Tour departure is within walking distance of the cruise ship docks). 

Required at time of booking: Cruise ship or hotel information in Skagway and all passenger weights. Due to limited capacity on helicopters, there is a surcharge for an additional ½ seat for passengers weighing 250 lbs or more.

Season: Daily departures May 12 - August 29, 2014 dependent on glacier conditions.
DepartureTime: Various times available. Usually accommodates cruise ship schedules.
Duration: 2 hours, including 30 minute roundtrip flight and approx. 1 hour at the dog camp

Helicopter Glacier Flightseeing Tour from Skagway
A scenic helicopter flight transports you to explore one of Alaska's grand glaciers left over from the last Ice Age. As you ascend above Skagway, you will view the Taiya Inlet and the Gold Rush ghost town of Dyea. Once the helicopter lands on Meade Glacier, an expert guide will tell you about the ancient ice and lead you on a short walk. Tour includes: Roundtrip helicopter flight, glacier landing and Glacier boots and safety vest. Not included: Transfers within Skagway. (Tour departure point is within walking distance of the cruise ship docks)
