Wilderness Excursion Jetboat Tour from Talkeetna
This scenic tour aboard the 52-passenger "Talkeetna Queen" will give you the opportunity to experience wildlife, folklore, and historical artifacts. Conditions permitting, enjoy panoramic view of Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley) and the Alaska Range. Along the way, look for bald eagles, beavers, or moose. During your tour you will stop at a wilderness site where you will take a leisurely 1/4 mile nature walk and visit an authentic trapper's cabin with its original furnishings and view how trappers lived in "Bush" Alaska at the turn of the century. You will also visit a replicated Native Alaskan encampment to learn about the indigenous culture.

Chulitna Gorge Jetboat Tour from Talkeetna
This jet boat trip will take you on 3 rivers: the Talkeetna, Chulitna, and Susitna. You will go through the Chulitna River Gorge and experience class II and III whitewater. During a leisurely 1/4 mile nature walk along the Susitna River, you will visit an authentic trapper's cabin with its rustic furnishings and see how people lived in the "bush" at the turn of the century. Devil's Canyon Jetboat Adventure Tour from Talkeetna

Depart this morning on your jet boat tour, which takes you 130 miles through Denali State Park and into the National Wild River Park of "Devil's Gorge." Navigate through class IV and V whitewater as you access the remote wilderness. You will visit an authentic trapper's cabin with its rustic furnishings and a replica Native Alaskan camp. As you travel, look for wildlife like bald eagles, beavers, moose, salmon and maybe even bears. This exciting tour is for the more adventuresome soul.

Talkeetna Lakes Guided Hiking Tour from Talkeetna
Explore Talkeetna's best trail with a great naturalist guide. A new scene of beauty unfolds around every turn on this 3-mile moderate hike. Look for loons and kingfishers on the lakes, moose and bears in the woods and Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley) on the horizon. This lush old-growth forest is alive with songbirds, wildflowers, berries and mushrooms. A great trip in any weather! A healthy, home-baked snack is included. (Tour departs from the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge).

Good to know: The hike is 3 miles on an established trail with a total elevation gain of 200 feet.

NOTE: A 2-person minimum is required for the tour to operate. Children have to be at least 4 years old in order to participate in the this tour.

Ultimate Denali Hiking Experience Tour from Talkeetna
Take a scenic floatplane flight into Denali National Park for an alpine hike deep within the park. Enjoy views of towering granite peaks and glaciers as you approach Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley). Land on Lake Moraine, which was recently carved by Backside and Ruth Glaciers. Experience the true backcountry of Denali as you hike with a knowledgeable guide on hilly terrain that is only accessible by floatplane. Trail options range from moderately easy to difficult. After a 2-hour hike and a snack, return to Talkeetna.
Tour includes: Roundtrip floatplane trip, guided hiking and a snack.

NOTE: Children must be at least 8 years old to participate. A 2-person minimum is required; 6-person maximum keeps tour groups small. Flights with landings are subject to a $10 National Park fee per person, to be paid at time of departure in Talkeetna

Half Day Talkeetna River Fishing Adventure
Travel by jet boat to the best fishing holes on the Talkeetna River.  Depending on the time of the summer, you will be fishing from shore for a variety of Alaska's popular game fish including trout, arctic grayling and the various species of salmon (fishing restrictions apply). You can choose between fly fishing and spin cast fishing. 
Tour includes: fishing guide, gear and transfer from most local hotels.  Not included: Fishing license and King Salmon Stamps.

Good to know: Guide line for fishing season (subject to change, guideline only!):  Mid May - Mid June and Mid Sep - Early October: Trout, Arctic Grayling, and Dolly Varden / Late May - June: Red Salmon / Mid June - Mid July: King Salmon / Early Aug - Mid Sep: Silver Salmon / Mid July - Late Aug: Pink and Chum Salmon
Fishing restrictions: King Salmon, Trout and Grayling fishing is catch and release only! Other salmon and Dollie Varden can be kept, according to current daily catch limits.   

Required at time of booking: You must let us know which type of gear you prefer at the time of booking (spincast or flyfishing). There is a 2-person minimum for this tour to operate.
