| This ski-plane flight is an extended version of the McKinley
Experience Tour. In addition to that route, you will fly to the remote western
end of Denali National Park. Explore the south side of Mt. McKinley (20,320
feet), Mt. Foraker (17,400 feet) and Mt. Hunter (14,573 feet). Fly over the
winding Kahiltna Glacier, the longest glacier in Denali National Park (45 miles
long and 3 miles wide), and on to the climber's Base Camp located at 7,200 feet.
Spot climbers as they traverse the glacier and make their way to the West
Buttress (a popular climbing route). The highlight of your flight is a glacier
landing, which gives you approximately 20 minutes to experience the ancient ice
and majestic mountain up close. A 2-person minimum is required for the tour to
operate. Flights with glacier landings are subject to a $10 National Park fee
per person, to be paid at time of departure in
Talkeetna.
Season: Daily departures April 20 -
August 31, 2012 (Subject to weather and snow/ice
conditions) Departure Time:
Morning/Afternoon Duration: 1.75 hours
Price: USD 336 per person
