Our AlaskaTours.com website shows many different vacation options. We have designed our vacation packages for the North American Traveler in particular. If you are from Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Asia or Africa, please contact us and we are happy to refer you to one of our tour operator partners overseas. Our partners overseas are very knowledgeable and will be able to assist you with your Alaska vacation planning.


We pay US and Canada based travel agencies (only) commissions as outlined further below.

How to make Online Reservations with AlaskaTours.com

• First you will need to set up an account with us!

• To set up an account, please fill out this registration form and your login information will be emailed to you.

• When you have an account set up, you can click on the top right "My Account" and log in with your IATA number and password. You can view reservations that your agency has made and make new reservations for your clients.

   

Payment Policy

• Payments are accepted by client credit card, agency credit card and under special circumstances, agency check. Check payments must clear the bank before any tour services can be reserved.

• We do not accept payment by bank transfer.

• Commission is processed AFTER travel is completed and can not be deducted from initial payment. Please see our Travel Agency Commission Policy below.  For additional booking terms, please review our Terms & Conditions.

 

Travel Agency Commission Policy

• Travel agency commissions are only granted for US and Canada based travel agencies.

• Travel agency commissions and relationship fees are paid on all packages with the CTA designation in the tour number (i.e. Tour 159CTA), and on customized tour packages, as well as pre- and post-night hotels added to these tour packages. Small ship cruise commissions are paid net of taxes.

• The exceptions (sorry) are non-packaged items including day tours, lodge stays, large ship cruises, transfers, flights, cancellation / change fees, and travel insurance. Unfortunately we cannot offer commission on these services when they are not included in the package price. We also are unable to pay commission on stand-alone hotel bookings when not booked in conjunction with a commissionable package.  We are not able to pay commission on services that are cancelled due to reasons that are out of our control such as weather cancellations.

• We offer a 10% commission when sales contact is initiated by the Travel Agent with all subsequent communication and planning serviced by the Travel Agent.

• We offer a 5% relationship fee when sales contact with AlaskaTours.com is initiated by the customer, with all subsequent communication and planning directed by the client who then refers their reservation request through the Travel Agent for administrative processing.

• We offer a 5% relationship fee when sales contact is initiated by the Travel Agent, who then requests that the client communicate with AlaskaTours.com directly to plan the tour arrangements.

• Commission are paid by check 30 days after travel is completed, as cancellations and changes during travel may affect the total commissionable price. For instance, if we issue a refund to clients for a tour that was cancelled due to weather, the total amount refunded will be deducted from the original commissionable rate.  Unfortunately we are not able to pay commission on services that are cancelled due to reasons that are out of our control such as weather cancellations.
