Turnagain Turnaround Tour from Anchorage
Take a small group tour along Turnagain Arm, one of the most scenic drives in the country. Your driver will pick you up from your hotel and take you south along the Seward Highway toward Girdwood. A professional Alaska tour guide will tell you all about the area and share personal knowledge of Alaska on the way to Mt. Alyeska. Take in the spectacular views as you ride an aerial tram to the top of the mountain. Lunch is included in Girdwood. Anchorage and Winter Sunset Photo Safari
A photo tour that is fun for casual camera operators and avid photographers alike! This 4-hour tour is a great way to explore Anchorage in the winter! Hunt for the best light of the day, which during winter at this latitude often bathes the snowy landscape in stunning colors. You will be transported to scenic locations around Anchorage, Cook Inlet, and Chugach State Park to shoot enchanting winterscapes. The itinerary is flexible and allows for spontaneous stops to photograph wildlife en route. On certain dates, there is the opportunity to shoot the moon rising over the white-capped peaks of the Chugach Mountains. This tour includes a post tour wake-up call option and transport to Glen Alps to shoot northern lights, should they become active (no additional cost). Along the way, you will be offered creative and technical support from your Alaska Photo Treks guide.

Good to know: Prior photography experience or special photo equipment is not required for this tour! There is a small group size of maximum 10 people, so book early!

Mt. McKinley Flightseeing Tour from Anchorage
This scenic flight takes you within six miles of Denali's 20,320 ft. summit (formerly Mt. McKinley). Fly by floatplane (summer only; plane on skis in winter) from Anchorage's Lake Hood, the world's busiest seaplane airport. Aerially tour over the foothills of Denali to view the entire length of the Ruth Glacier, the Great Gorge and the massive south face of Denali (formerly Mt. McKinley). This is a truly spectacular way to get up-close to "The Great One!" A lake landing provides an opportunity for photos of the remote wilderness (weather permitting).

Full Day Dog Sledding Adventure Tour from Anchorage

Spring Gray Whale Watching Cruise with roundtrip transfers from Anchorage
Witness this amazing annual migration of California Gray Whales, traveling over 5,000 miles from Baja California, to the nutrient rich waters of Alaska's Bering Sea! You will depart this morning from Anchorage on a motorcoach to Seward. At noon you will depart on a 4 hour cruise, where you will have a front row seat as these magnificent mammals pass by the mouth of Resurrection Bay. Watch for their bushy, heart shaped blow rising up to 13 feet in the air. A hot lunch is included. Following the cruise, you will return by motorcoach to Anchorage, arriving in Anchorage between 6:30pm and 7pm.
