Fairbanks Aurora Viewing Tour

You will be transferred 30 - 45 minutes from your hotel to a prime Aurora viewing destination away from the city lights. We recommend that you dress warmly for this tour, so you may view the Northern Lights from outdoors. If you become cold, you can warm up in a comfortable cabin with north-facing windows that allow for optimal viewing even from indoors. Hot beverages and roundtrip transportation are included. Your driver will return you to your hotel around 2:30H. A 2-person minimum is required for the tour to operate. Aurora Viewing and Dinner Tour from Fairbanks

This tour offers the perfect Aurora Borealis viewing opportunity as well as the chance to be personal dinner guests at an Alaska cabin. You will be transferred 30 - 45 minutes from your hotel to a prime Aurora viewing destination away from the city lights. At a warm cabin, you will enjoy a home cooked, Alaskan meal. While you are waiting for the natural wonder of the Northern Lights, relax around a warm wood stove and listen to interesting Alaska stories including dog mushing, stories about the lifestile and people of the North, and more. Please note that the cabin is comfortable and warm yet also rustic and without indoor plumbing. There is an outhouse close by. Arctic winter clothing is available if you want to watch the Aurora outside. The north-facing windows of the cabin also allow for optimal viewing even from indoors. Aurora Viewing and Chena Hot Springs from Fairbanks

Enjoy the Aurora Borealis, the Ice Museum and hot springs! You will be picked up from your hotel and transferred 1.5 hours to Chena Hot Springs. After arriving, you will take a guided tour of the Ice Museum. Afterwards, soak and relax in the natural hot springs. At around midnight, look for the Northern Lights to dance across the sky. Arctic Circle Aurora Adventure

Tour up the Dalton Highway into the Alaskan Arctic. As you depart Fairbanks, you will pass gold mines and drive alongside the Trans-Alaska Pipeline. Walking on the arctic tundra will give you a sense of the vast scale of Alaska's arctic regions. Drive all the way north to the Arctic Circle, where you will receive an official Arctic Circle certificate. Fairbanks Winter Adventure

During this guided tour, you will learn about Fairbanks natural and cultural history. Tour the University of Alaska Fairbanks (UAF) Museum to learn about Alaska's natural and cultural history as well as the science behind the majestic Northern Lights. Stops are made at the UAF Large Animal Research Station to view Musk-oxen, Alaskan Reindeer and Caribou, as well as the Alaska Oil Pipeline viewing station, the Fairbanks Visitors Center and new Morris Thompson Cultural Center.

Chena Hot Springs Day Tour from Fairbanks

Travel 60 miles west of Fairbanks to Chena Hot Springs. Chena Hot Springs Resort is internationally known for its natural mineral hot springs. Visitors can relax and revitalize in the outdoor hot springs, hot tubs, and indoor pool. Chena Hot Springs offers a first rate Alaskan winter experience from Fairbanks! Yet Chena Hot Springs is also a great attraction in the summer time! During your 4-hour visit at Chena Hot Springs, enjoy a guided Ice Museum tour, which is set up like an ice hotel, as well as a guided Geothermal tour. Before you head back to Fairbanks, soak in the hot springs (please bring own towels). Ask us about adding a dog sled ride or snowmobile tour in the winter (depending on snow conditions)!

Bush Mail Flight from Fairbanks

Experience Alaska in a different way! There are no roads to the Interior "Bush" Alaska so join a flight (small bush plane) that brings mail to rural villages. During this tour, you may briefly visit one, two, or three villages. The most popular destinations are Anaktuvuk Pass in Gates of the Arctic National Park or Fort Yukon on the Yukon River. Village / ground tours are NOT included, as you only land for a few minutes in each town.
